Welcome to Graphic Clinic. An award winning graphic design agency based in London.
We specialise in Branding, Digital, SEO and Social Media. Our aim is to give you more.
Please take a look through our work summary below, then our more indepth blog and then give us a call, you won't be disappointed.

We recently completed a very exciting exhibtion for the Victoria and Albert Museum in London's Museum of Childhood, based in Bethnal Green. Working in partnership with Wells Mackereth Architects we produced all the graphic panels, object labels and marketing material for their temporary exhibition on childrens seating. "Sit down: Seating for kids" will run until September 2010 at the museum and the exhibition uses a dual layered graphical approach to appeal to both adults and children, with various interactive activities to encourage children to engage with the subject matter. A whole host of images are available on our blog.

Continuing with their seasonal mailer, Nucleus once again trusted us to give them more. So we did. Not only did we continue with their seasonal inspiring quotations (see 2008 card below) — this time taking the wisdom of Ghandi — but we gave their recipients a free calendar too.
The card folds up into a nice little desktop calendar, and means that it's not just a throw away item (as many Christmas cards are) but a year long useful item for the company and all it's customers.

We recently put together a new visual look for Cobalt, based in Soho. They specialise in finance and construction (such as engineers) and wanted a unique look that would set them apart from their competitors. Our solution was to create a duotone double image effect using the brand colours to maintain consistency with their existing online prescence. We then created and image bank for them to use and develop inhouse, some sourced and some shot ourselves.
In our usual 'fashion' we redrew their logo for them too, tightening up the kerning (previously it visually looked iike "co balt" ) and their mark—which was a bit askew. They saw what we meant when we pointed it out and were delighted we would fix it for them.

Charlotte approached us to design her business cards for her Occupational Therapy business. We designed her a stylish card with a circular spectrum motif on the reverse - it's all about getting in to the spaces in your brain to work you out.

Langdon Executive properties, a London based property developer, approach Graphic Clinic to develop their corporate brand plus the branding for a new development on the Carribean island of Grenada.
Our simple solution took inspiration from the developments riverside location and uber-cool modern architectural design. The website gives the user an insight into the beauty of the location and some top level information. A brochure is in the studio and will be available in the new year, and a full spec website will be launched at that time.
Our design for Langdon's corporate brand took on an altogether more 'established' feel, whilst still maintaining a hgh level of finesse and modernity.

Albion Fire and Safety approached Graphic Clinic to provide them with a complete re-brand following a company restructuring and name change. Our simple shield solution captures their business and work ethic - sometimes the obvious solutions are the best.

Bake Printers approach us to design their Christmas card at the end of 2005. They wanted it to showcase their printing abilities to print buyers and designers alike.
We suggested a Christmas card was a bad idea, in that none of their audience would see it. "Tell us more..." they said. So we suggested a large format, large impact promotional piece that would demonstrate their skills as a high quality and creative printer. They thought it was a brilliant suggestion, so we created the "poster come calendar come spec sheet come business card" to showcase their skills. It changed the design industries perception of them, which is what they wanted it to do.

N&E designed and produced a "two pronged" website for a new development of luxury properties in Ayrshire, Scotland.
The website has two main areas, allowing users to choose to Explore or seek to be Informed about the development, with each having its own navigation and structure offering users two routes to the content. It's not often a client can say they (effectively) got two websites for the price of one.

The Original Designers Workbook was created out of a frustration that there are no notepads that work for professionals like us, that allow us use them for both designing and minute/brief taking. We researched the type of workbook creative professionals wanted (Architects, Interior Designers, Graphic Designers, Web, etc), and came up with a design that gives creatives the flexibility needed combned with a structure that a studio environment demands. But of course it could be a simple as just a "note pad", so we designed them to be attractive objects in their own right, and with 5 coloured covers, Blue, Black, Red, Green and Silver with matching bindings and a subtle foil block on the cover they'll fit a designers tastes. The inside cover has a wealth of information handy to designers, such as paper sizes and scales and each page in the workbook features a subtle grid with page headings to aid in finding notes taken at a later date.
You can buy a copy of the Workbooks from Analogue (see folio item below) or The Design Museum in London's shop.

Our friends at Media Relations Management asked us to look at their brand, their logo and their website as part of their ongoing drive to practice what they preach.
Working closely with the client we developed their identity, firmed up their brand values and then created a website that reflects who they are. A suite of stationery, promotional items and a powerpoint template allow MRM to present a unified image across the board.

A seasonally inspired quotation that fit the aims and aspirations of the client perfectly was all that was needed for this once a year ritual for many companies. Another example of how our long term client relationships lead to an indepth understanding of their business aims and 'product', and lets us deliver ever more creative and thought provoking solutions.

As part of our ongoing work for Nucleus, as their brand consultants, we designed and produced their new B2B brochure.
In keeping with the brand we created for them, it sets a new benchmark in financial literature. We used high quality printing techniques such as french folds and singer sewn binding to reinforce their position as a ground breaking company.

We've worked with the National Galleries of Scotland on several direct mail and below the line promotion items for their many exhibitions, including some posters and signage requirements. They said we had produced "one of the best items of promotional work they had done for a long time". The piece in question was inspired by the huge and imposing columns that are an integral architectural feature in all their galleries.

We've designed Scottish folk band Freights latest album cover. The duo from Edinburgh approached us to create an album cover that would capture the spirit of their music. So we did, and they were chuffed to bits with it.

For our friends at BL Developments we created a flash mini site to promote their latest development at The Bridge in Musselburgh, just outside Edinburgh.

We've been friends with the guys at Analogue for years - a fantastic design bookshop in Edinburgh - so when we got asked to redesign their website we jumped at the chance.
They wanted something minimal and simple and we were only too happy to oblige.

How do you create a brand for a finance company that is going to set their industry alight and break all the 'rules'? Answer: Ignore all the rules for designing for the finance industry. No blue. No green instead of blue. No serif typefaces. No design by committee.
Thankfully Nucleus appreciate the value that good design gives to a business, and they trust our judgement. We love them for both those reasons (and the fact they're top peeps too!).

An interior design firm with some great clients (like Puma) and a new found love for pink.
With a new colour scheme and logotype, a simple design was called for to show off their fantastic designs to maximum effect.
